really neat concept! i love a clicker game haha so this was fun to play around with. i liked the flavor text of the random thoughts a lot.
one note is i am not sure what made the flavor text pop up for the upgrades, and so they would only randomly appear for me? i couldn't figure out how to make them appear. maybe if there was a note on that included in info that would help. i bought some upgrades without being sure of what they did.

Thank you for playing! The flavor text should pop up after having the mouse still over the button for 3 seconds. Maybe a bit long, I will probably make an update to this when I can. Even though it was a prototype I would like to try implementing the feedback I've gotten on it so far.
Humorous game haha. I think caffeine (it was misspelt as 'caffine' in the game) actually harms your brain, but there was no effect on the brain in the game. Also, getting a doctorate negatively impacts one's emotions, and some studies have compared the level of stress of getting a doctorate degree with the death of a close family member - they found out that getting a doctorate feels more stressful and painful than that.
It was only later on that I realised there is a scroll bar on the right. It should be clearer that it is a scroll bar, otherwise it might be overlooked.
The dark blue colours of the rainbow spectrum used for the words do not contrast very well with the dark background. It could be changed to a lighter hue.
Thank you for taking the time to play it and giving feedback! I definitely forgot about spell checking anything, woops. That upgrade is meant to give more thoughts each time you actually click the brain, but I increased the scaling of everything else (to make the game quick to play) to where it's not really useful.
Also good points about the scrollbar and colors, I'll keep these things in mind for the future. :)
